Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents as a trusted CNA
• Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
• Support feeding, turning, and basic monitoring to promote comfort and safety
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
• Help create a warm, respectful environment that values resident dignity

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing
• Minimum relevant experience desirable — enthusiasm and strong bedside manner required
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work evening shifts

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• State CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills and familiarity with ADLs
• Good communication and teamwork with nurses and multidisciplinary staff
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Ability to follow care plans, safety protocols, and infection control procedures
• Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude under pressure
