Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside nursing care to patients in the assigned unit
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Monitor and document patient condition, reporting changes to RN or provider
• Maintain clear, timely charting and handoffs to ensure continuity of care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan and coordinate patient care
• Support patient and family education, promoting safety and recovery
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges while maintaining patient dignity

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing (state licensure required)
• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required or obtained upon start
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and in fast-paced environments
• Able to pass facility-required background check and drug screen

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program; high school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and documentation skills
• Basic assessment skills and ability to recognize patient changes
• Good communication and teamwork abilities with clinical staff
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and standard charting
• Time management skills for efficient care during overnight shifts
