Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in line with facility policies and nursing best practices
• Administer medications, treatments, and wound care accurately and timely
• Monitor patient status and proactively communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments and interventions clearly in the electronic medical record
• Support patient comfort and safety while promoting independence and dignity
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Participate in shift handoffs and ensure continuity of care for each patient

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (valid in New Mexico preferred)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain
• Previous LPN clinical experience preferred; facility orientation and unit training provided
• Ability to work overnight 12-hour shifts and meet the physical demands of patient care
• Clear background check and required facility onboarding documentation

Education

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent completion of LPN training

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and basic nursing skills
• Medication administration and IV/SC/IM competency as required by facility
• Comfortable with electronic medical record documentation
• Effective communication and teamwork with patients, families, and staff
• Infection control, safety practices, and attention to detail
