Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Assess and monitor patient status, documenting changes and interventions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate safe, effective care
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations using sound clinical judgment
• Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation and shift handoffs

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or compact state eligibility
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Current CPR certification and ability to meet facility-required health screenings
• Previous acute care or medical-surgical experience preferred
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competence
• Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work effectively in a fast-paced setting
• Teamwork and collaboration with nurses, physicians, and allied health staff
