Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide respectful, hands-on personal care to residents, supporting dignity and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report clinical changes to nursing staff
• Support safe transfers and positioning with proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Document care thoroughly and communicate clearly with the care team and families
• Help maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
• Participate in team huddles and contribute to a positive, resident-centered culture

Qualifications

• Active CNA or T-CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant or T-CNA)
• Eligible to work in Maine and available for the assignment dates (Dec 8, 2025 – Mar 2, 2026)
• Comfortable working a day shift schedule (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain per facility policy
• Ability to pass background checks and required facility screenings

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong resident care skills and compassion for older adults
• Competence with ADLs, transfers, and mobility assistance
• Accurate vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
• Clear verbal and written communication for effective team handoffs
• Attention to detail for documentation and infection control practices
• Team player mentality and dependable work ethic
