Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Support clinical staff by observing and reporting changes in patient condition
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning to promote patient comfort
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with the care team
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment that centers on patient dignity

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (CNA or T-CNA) in good standing
• Ability to meet facility onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, immunizations as required)
• Comfort working in a fast-paced long-term/post-acute care environment
• Professional, dependable, and a team player who puts patients first

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic patient care and assistance with ADLs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents and families
• Able to follow care plans, safety protocols, and infection control standards
• Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks during a busy shift
