Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert, compassionate care to Level 1 trauma and craniotomy patients during the night shift
• Perform thorough assessments and implement critical interventions for trauma admissions
• Maintain accurate, timely patient demographic documentation in HWL, including required profile items
• Demonstrate proficiency on the skills checklist and apply specialty craniotomy care standards
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate complex care and smooth transitions
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members during high-acuity situations
• Ensure compliance with all unit protocols, charting standards, and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of documented Level 1 trauma experience (must be listed in work history as Level 1 trauma)
• Demonstrated strong rating on skills checklist, including experience caring for craniotomy patients
• Night-shift clinical experience is required
• Ability and willingness to load required demographic information into HWL profile, including full SSN and badge photo
• Current, active licensure and certifications as required by facility (ensure credentialing documentation is ready)
