Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients during overnight hours
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes in condition promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient-centered care
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses in the medical record with clarity
• Support discharge planning and patient education to promote positive outcomes
• Respond to emergencies and escalate concerns according to facility protocols

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico or a multistate compact RN license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Experience in acute care or related inpatient settings is preferred
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen and facility onboarding requirements
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts and adapt to varying assignment schedules

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required or equivalent)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competence
• Accurate electronic charting and documentation
• Effective communication and teamwork across disciplines
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced overnight environment
