Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient condition, recognizing changes quickly and communicating them clearly
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments accurately and safely
• Provide goal-driven rehabilitation nursing care tailored to each patient’s recovery plan
• Document care and progress in the electronic charting system thoroughly and promptly
• Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and aides to coordinate patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and safe transitions back home
• Support infection prevention and maintain a safe, compassionate environment

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (must be valid for practice in New Hampshire or eligible for prompt licensure)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred or as facility-required
• Minimum clinical experience in med-surg, rehab, or long-term care preferred
• Comfortable working rotating day shifts and weekend coverage
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Travel nursing experience is a plus but not required

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN). BSN preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and IV management
• Familiarity with rehab nursing principles and restorative care
• Electronic medical record documentation proficiency
• Clear verbal and written communication with interdisciplinary teams
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in a dynamic setting
