Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on personal care to residents with respect and dignity
• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing and toileting
• Take and record vital signs, reporting changes in condition to nursing staff
• Support safe transfers and mobility, following care plans and proper techniques
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
• Communicate clearly with residents, families and the care team to promote continuity of care
• Document care accurately and promptly in facility records

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in the state of practice
• Previous CNA experience preferred but new CNAs with strong bedside skills are welcome
• Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Reliable, professional, and patient-focused attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care principles and activities of daily living
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with residents and team members
• Basic documentation skills and attention to detail
• Mobility assistance and safe transfer techniques
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
