Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding and mobility with dignity and respect
• Monitor and document resident status, reporting changes promptly to nursing staff
• Support safe and clean care environments by following infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with the care team to contribute to individualized care plans
• Deliver friendly, resident-centered interactions that promote comfort and independence

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (or eligible to obtain) — required
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by facility
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Previous experience in long term care or similar setting is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completed CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care fundamentals and activities of daily living
• Comfortable with basic vital sign collection and documentation
• Familiarity with infection control practices and safety procedures
• Reliable time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
