Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, safe patient care by assessing needs and implementing nursing plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-focused care
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly and timely in the patient record
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
• Maintain infection control and safety standards to protect patients and staff
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in good standing (appropriate state licensure required)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS or PALS as applicable preferred
• Clinical experience in acute care or long-term care settings preferred
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program or accredited RN program (ADN/BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment and monitoring of vital signs
• Competent with medication administration and documentation
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) charting
• Understanding of infection prevention, wound care, and basic clinical procedures
• Time management and prioritization for handling multiple patient needs
• Professional bedside manner and family education skills
