Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and lift equipment when needed
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient chart and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
• Observe and report significant changes in patient condition to ensure proper, timely interventions
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients, visitors, and staff
• Support patient dignity and comfort while fostering a respectful, patient-centered environment

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state credential required)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
• Ability to pass required background checks and immunization/screening requirements
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
• Reliable attendance (note: assignment policy limits call-outs — consult recruiter for details)

Education

• High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care skills and comfort with ADLs
• Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
• Knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety practices
• Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
• Teamwork mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced care setting
