Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care on a busy day-shift schedule
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, following facility protocols
• Perform thorough patient assessments and maintain timely, precise documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families to support recovery, discharge planning, and long-term health
• Respond to changes in patient condition with sound clinical judgment and calm leadership

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing (state-specific or compact where applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or PALS a plus when applicable
• Comfortable with 12+ hour day shifts and working a Monday-Wednesday schedule
• Clinical experience in medical-surgical, rehab, or related care settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN diploma/certificate or ADN/BSN for RNs)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and patient assessment
• Proficient with electronic health record documentation and charting
• Solid knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and care standards
• Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
• Time management and prioritization for multiple patients on extended shifts
