Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients during the overnight shift
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Assess patients regularly and communicate changes promptly to the care team
- Document care thoroughly and maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver coordinated care
- Support patients and families with clear communication and comfort measures
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted LPN license (able to practice in Maine)
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain upon hire
- Comfort working overnight and managing multiple priorities
- Reliable, professional, and patient-centered approach to care
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/LPN diploma program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient assessment and observation skills
- Medication administration and documentation proficiency
- Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
- Good clinical judgment and effective communication
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare setting
