Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies and state regulations
• Perform thorough assessments and document clinical findings and changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following the five rights and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely charting in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and discharge plans in a clear, caring way
• Participate in unit safety and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted LPN or RN license eligible for practice in Maine (compact licensing where applicable)
• Current BLS certification; ACLS or specialty certifications preferred if applicable
• Minimum clinical experience in nursing (preferred experience in long-term care or similar settings)
• Comfortable with medication administration, documentation, and patient assessments
• Available to start for the 14-week travel assignment beginning December 5, 2025

Education

• LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in medication administration and wound care
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and team members
• Familiarity with infection control practices and safety protocols
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and electronic charting systems
• Team-oriented mindset with good time management and organization
