Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a Licensed Nursing Assistant
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
- Perform accurate documentation of care and follow facility procedures
- Support safe transfers and use of assistive devices to reduce risk of falls
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
- Maintain infection control and safety standards for residents and staff
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential (applicable for NH/VT assignments)
- Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or able to obtain
- Ability to work the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift and meet a 11-week travel commitment
- Comfortable with hands-on resident care and working as part of a team
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED and completion of an approved LNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in personal care and support for elderly residents
- Solid documentation and charting practices
- Good communication and teamwork with nursing staff and families
- Knowledge of infection control and resident safety protocols
- Ability to follow care plans and implement assigned tasks reliably
