Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a rehabilitation setting
• Perform thorough assessments and implement individualized nursing plans
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery
• Document care and patient progress clearly and promptly in the EMR
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery goals, and home care
• Respond to urgent situations following facility protocols to maintain safety

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in New Mexico or an active multistate compact RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced certifications such as ACLS or specialty rehab certifications preferred
• Previous RN experience; travel nursing and rehabilitation experience a plus
• Comfortable working night shifts and the scheduled weekend mix
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation
• Medication administration and IV therapy management
• Rehabilitation nursing principles and safe mobility practices
• Electronic medical records (EMR) proficiency
• Effective communication and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Time management, prioritization, and critical thinking
