Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance to residents, promoting dignity and independence
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
• Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff in a timely manner
• Support safe and comfortable mealtimes, including feeding assistance when needed
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care and contribute to positive resident outcomes
• Maintain infection control and safety standards to protect residents and colleagues

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification required
• T-CNA certification or class listed (T-CNA) indicated as relevant for this role
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass facility background checks and required health screenings
• Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented with strong communication skills

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care and activities of daily living
• Familiarity with resident safety, infection control, and documentation practices
• Comfortable assisting with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics
• Good observational skills and ability to communicate changes to the nursing team
• Customer-service mindset when interacting with residents and families
