Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate patient care including medication administration and wound care
• Perform timely assessments and communicate changes in patient condition
• Document care accurately in the medical record to ensure continuity and safety
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver quality care
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and safe patient transfers
• Support patient and family education with clear, respectful communication
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in North Carolina (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable working day shifts and committing to every other weekend
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by facility
• Professional, patient-centered attitude with strong communication skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and basic clinical nursing procedures
• Patient assessment and recognition of changes in condition
• Accurate documentation and charting practices
• Familiarity with infection control and safety standards
• Teamwork, time management, and effective communication with patients and staff
