Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents as an LPN
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per policy
• Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to the interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate with nursing staff and facility leadership to support continuity of care
• Maintain accurate records and complete required assessments and charting
• Support residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity and independence

Qualifications

• Current LPN license valid in New Mexico (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with an interdisciplinary team
• Ability to pass background checks and required facility onboarding

Education

• Vocational Nursing Diploma or LPN certificate from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in wound care, medication administration, and resident assessment
• Knowledge of infection control practices and long-term care regulations
• Comfortable with electronic charting and clinical documentation
• Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Team-oriented with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
