Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Perform timely and thorough patient assessments and documentation
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care
- Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
- Support quality improvement efforts and adhere to facility protocols
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (state of practice required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or obtain upon hire
- Comfortable working day shifts with the ability to manage multiple patients
- Professional, reliable, and a strong team player
- Travel nursing experience is a plus but not required
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (diploma/certificate)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong medication administration and clinical assessment skills
- Accurate charting and familiarity with electronic health records
- Infection control and safety-conscious practices
- Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
