Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents as an LPN
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document promptly
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans
• Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to the RN or provider
• Support resident comfort, dignity, and activities of daily living
• Contribute to a positive, team-first environment and mentor newer staff

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in good standing (current or eligible for New Mexico licensure)
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing or vocational nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or other certs a plus
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
• Prior LPN experience in long-term care or similar settings preferred

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and accurate charting
• Comfort with IV starts and basic wound care as applicable
• Strong clinical assessment and prioritization skills
• Clear communication with residents, families, and the care team
• Time management for extended 12+ hour shift workflows
• Professionalism, empathy, and a resident-centered approach
