Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care as a licensed practical nurse, making each patient interaction count
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document them clearly
- Perform routine assessments and monitor patient status during overnight hours
- Collaborate with the care team to support individualized care plans and smooth handoffs
- Maintain accurate, timely charting and communicate changes to the clinical team
- Support infection control and safety practices to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing (required)
- Local to the Belen, NM area or able to commute — this is a local-only assignment
- Comfortable working overnight 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM shifts for the contract period
- Able to meet facility onboarding requirements and pass background checks as required
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma or equivalent)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong medication administration and patient monitoring skills
- Reliable clinical documentation and charting abilities
- Good assessment skills for recognizing changes in patient condition
- Clear communication and teamwork with nursing staff and providers
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage care during overnight hours
