Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents with professionalism and respect
- Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes in condition to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, following established protocols
- Document patient care and observations clearly and promptly in the clinical record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
- Support resident dignity and independence through attentive and personalized care
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in New Mexico (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred or obtain upon hire)
- Previous LPN experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Ability to work weekend day shifts (Saturday and Sunday) reliably
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care
Education
- Vocational/Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in medication administration and basic clinical procedures
- Comfortable with patient assessments, vital signs, and documenting care
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems and clinical documentation
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
