Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in the facility
• Administer medications and document treatments accurately and on time
• Monitor patient condition, report changes to the care team, and collaborate on care plans
• Perform routine assessments and support restorative and preventive care efforts
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated care
• Support infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and coworkers

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in New Mexico (required)
• Completion of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Previous LPN experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Able to work Tuesday through Thursday on the scheduled 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM shifts

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical/Vocational Nursing program (LPN/LVN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Comfortable with documentation in electronic or paper medical records
• Good communication and teamwork skills to work across disciplines
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy care environment and maintain attention to detail
• Familiarity with long-term care routines and resident-centered approaches
