Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care as an LPN, ensuring dignity and comfort
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document according to facility protocol
- Perform timely patient assessments and report changes to the interdisciplinary team
- Assist with activities of daily living and support individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely charting in the patient record
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members to coordinate care
- Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in good standing
- Minimum recent hands-on LPN experience preferred (relevant long-term care or acute care experience is a plus)
- Must be local to the area and have reliable personal transportation (LOCAL ONLY requirement)
- Ability to work the posted day shift hours (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain per facility policy
- Required immunizations and ability to pass facility background checks as requested
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program; active LPN license
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid medication administration and documentation skills
- Comfortable with basic wound care and ADL assistance
- Strong patient assessment and observation skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with electronic charting and standard clinical workflows
- Professionalism, reliability, and a patient-centered attitude
