Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility to promote dignity and comfort
• Take and record vital signs, report changes promptly to nursing staff, and contribute to accurate resident charts
• Support safe transfers and fall prevention efforts with attentive, hands-on care
• Provide compassionate companionship and individualized attention to residents
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with the care team and families to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification for New Hampshire or Vermont as applicable
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, person-centered care
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• Ability to work the scheduled evenings and alternate weekend rotation

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved LNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills for working with residents and the care team
• Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and infection control
• Comfortable with documentation and communicating clinical observations
• Good time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
• Basic mobility and safe transfer techniques
