Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality direct care to residents as a Licensed Nursing Assistant
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding) with dignity and respect
- Accurately document resident care and report changes in condition to the nursing team
- Follow facility policies for safety, infection control, and resident confidentiality
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
- Support a positive resident experience by fostering respectful, person-centered interactions
- Fulfill every-other-weekend coverage as part of the team schedule
Qualifications
- Active LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification valid for the region
- Local candidate required — must have reliable personal transportation
- Willingness to work the 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM shift and commit to every-other-weekend coverage
- Ability to pass facility onboarding and background checks
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; LNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
- Clear, timely documentation and communication with clinical team
- Basic infection control and patient safety practices
- Teamwork, reliability, and strong attention to detail
- Comfort working in a long-term care / skilled nursing environment
