Shift Type: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (overnight); exact days vary by facility schedule; overnight night shift with a 35-hour weekly guarantee

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess respiratory status and deliver evidence-based respiratory care to improve patient outcomes
- Manage ventilators and advanced airway therapies with precision and attention to safety
- Perform arterial blood gas collection and interpretation to guide treatment decisions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and adjust patient care plans
- Document assessments, interventions and response to therapy accurately in the EMR
- Provide patient and family education about respiratory care, equipment and home needs
- Respond quickly and professionally in emergency situations and code events
Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in New Hampshire or ability to obtain prior to start
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS or PALS preferred or obtainable
- Comfortable with ventilator management, airway interventions and ABG analysis
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Professional, team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (Associate degree or higher)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in ventilator management and weaning protocols
- Proficient with arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation
- Strong assessment skills for adult and geriatric respiratory patients
- Experience with airway management, oxygen therapy and aerosolized treatments
- Comfortable documenting in electronic medical records and following protocols
- Critical thinking, teamwork and patient-centered communication
