Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on each shift
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Perform thorough assessments and monitor patient condition
- Document care and chart in the electronic medical record clearly
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care
- Maintain safety and infection control standards at all times
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in New Mexico required
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Previous LPN clinical experience preferred
- Ability to work scheduled Sunday through Tuesday 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Clear background check and compliance with facility requirements
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and LPN licensure
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong skills in medication administration and patient assessments
- Comfortable with wound care and basic bedside procedures
- Accurate charting and familiarity with electronic medical records
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Good time management and ability to prioritize in a busy setting
- Patient advocacy and a focus on delivering respectful care
