Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients as an LPN
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to the care team
- Document patient care clearly and timely in the medical record
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
- Support patients and families with education, empathy, and clear communication
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in good standing
- Completion of an accredited LPN program
- Comfortable working evening shifts and participating in every-other-weekend rotations
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered mindset
- Current basic life support (BLS) may be required by facility
Education
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program; high school diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic clinical procedures
- Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
- Accurate charting and documentation skills
- Infection control and safety best practices
- Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
- Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical setting
