Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care to promote comfort and safety
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
- Monitor and document vital signs, clinical changes, and care interventions
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
- Educate residents and families about care plans, medications, and health needs
- Participate in care planning, infection control, and safety initiatives to maintain high-quality standards
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
- Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
- Current CPR/BLS certification required or willingness to obtain
- Reliable ability to work the required schedule: Tuesday through Saturday evenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Previous LPN experience in long-term care or similar setting preferred
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Basic wound care, vital signs assessment, and clinical observation
- Familiarity with care planning, safety protocols, and infection control
- Skilled at clear, compassionate communication with residents and families
- Comfortable using electronic health records and basic clinical technology
