Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care following facility policies and best practices
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, documenting in the EHR
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and complete required documentation
• Support clinical quality and safety initiatives to improve patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania (compact license holders accepted per facility policy)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS preferred or facility-dependent
• Minimum clinical experience preferred (often 1+ years in relevant specialty)
• Current immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings and background checks
• Able to work collaboratively, adapt to changing patient needs, and maintain professional standards

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication with patients and team members
• Time management, prioritization, and delegation in a fast-paced setting
• Infection control practices and patient safety principles
