Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility
• Monitor and document resident conditions, reporting changes to the care team
• Support safe and efficient handoffs during shift changes to maintain continuity of care
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to meet resident goals
• Contribute to a positive, resident-centered environment through respectful interactions

Qualifications

• Active LNA or T-LNA certification (class listed: LNA | T-LNA)
• Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) recommended or willing to obtain
• Comfortable working evening shifts and providing hands-on resident care
• Strong communication skills and ability to document care accurately
• Professional attitude, reliable attendance, and a team-first mindset

Education

• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant training program or equivalent
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and resident care best practices
• Skill in safe lifting and mobility assistance techniques
• Familiarity with documentation and reporting of observations
• Ability to follow care plans and physician/nurse direction
• Customer-service oriented approach when interacting with residents and families
