Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and changes in condition, escalating concerns to nursing staff promptly
• Support a safe, clean and comfortable environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Document care accurately and timely in the patient record to support continuity and quality of care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans and improve resident outcomes

Qualifications

• Current LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification (state-specific requirements apply)
• Travel LNA (T-LNA) credentials preferred for travel placements
• CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen and any required facility onboarding
• Excellent communication skills and a team-focused, resident-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved nursing assistant training program and successful LNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong hands-on skills for ADLs and mobility assistance
• Reliable ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with basic infection control and safety procedures
• Comfortable with electronic and paper documentation systems
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong teamwork skills
