Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, direct patient care as a licensed practical nurse
• Administer medications and document accurately according to policy
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to the care team
• Collaborate with nurses, clinicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Assist with activities of daily living and ensure patient comfort and safety
• Maintain clear, timely charting and follow infection control standards
• Support admission, transfer, and discharge processes when needed

Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (state-appropriate) required
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
• Ability to work the posted shift (early morning start to evening finish)
• Proof of required immunizations and successful background check
• Reliable local commute — this opening is local only

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and clinical skills
• Comfortable with charting and electronic health records
• Good assessment and critical thinking for patient changes
• Clear communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy setting
