Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients as a Licensed Nursing Assistant
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, mobility and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to the nursing team
- Support safe transfers and fall prevention efforts to keep patients secure
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain clean, safe environments and follow infection control and facility protocols
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential — VT or NH license preferred or ability to obtain
- Comfortable performing ADLs and basic clinical tasks with attention to dignity and safety
- Previous long-term care or rehab experience is a plus but caring attitude is most important
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility immunization requirements
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current LNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and resident support
- Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
- Safe transfer techniques and fall prevention
- Infection control practices and proper PPE use
- Clear documentation and effective team communication
- Compassionate bedside manner and respect for patient dignity
