Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care consistent with LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document thoroughly
• Monitor patient status, report changes promptly, and escalate concerns to RNs or providers
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement effective care plans
• Perform routine assessments, wound care, and basic procedures as ordered
• Educate patients and families in a clear, respectful way to support recovery and discharge planning
• Contribute to a positive, professional unit culture by mentoring peers and modeling best practices

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in New Hampshire (required)
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; additional certifications a plus
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and every other weekend
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Local-only availability for the assignment

Education

• Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing (graduate of an accredited LPN program)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid medication administration and documentation skills
• Knowledge of basic nursing assessments and care planning
• Ability to manage time and prioritize in a busy clinical environment
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety standards
• Compassionate bedside manner and de-escalation techniques
