Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in the facility
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
- Perform thorough assessments and document clinical findings in the chart
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to create coordinated care plans
- Provide clear, supportive education to residents and their families
- Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes to ensure smooth transitions
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control practices, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in Vermont or eligible for Vermont licensure
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar clinical setting preferred
- Reliable transportation and local housing (this is a local-only assignment)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team player attitude
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN certificate or diploma)
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation
- Clinical assessments and resident observation
- Basic wound care and ADL support
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
- Infection prevention and safety practices
- Time management, prioritization, and teamwork
