Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies
- Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, and communicate changes to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, care plans, and discharge instructions
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record
- Support quality improvement efforts and contribute to a positive unit culture
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Maine
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or other advanced certifications preferred
- Clinical experience in a relevant setting preferred (acute care, long-term care, or similar)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to pass facility background and health screenings per policy
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Medication administration and IV therapy experience
- Familiarity with care planning and electronic health record documentation
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical environment
- Patient education and family communication skills
