Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents while supporting dignity and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes in condition to nursing staff
• Document patient interactions and care in the chart in a timely, clear manner
• Help with safe transfers and mobility assistance, using proper body mechanics
• Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary team to support care plans
• Observe and advocate for resident safety, infection control, and quality standards

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification in NH (required)
• Must be local to the Lebanon, NH area; this is a local-only assignment
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain promptly
• Comfort with evening and Saturday hours as scheduled
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
• Previous long-term care or assisted living experience is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current LNA certification/license required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care principles and resident rights
• Ability to take accurate vital signs and recognize deviations
• Skilled in safe resident handling and transfer techniques
• Familiarity with documentation practices and basic charting
• Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
• Reliable time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
