Shift Type: Overnight nights, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, typically 3 shifts per week (overnight/night shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and document medication administration accurately
- Monitor and record vital signs, recognizing and escalating changes promptly
- Assist with activities of daily living while promoting resident dignity and independence
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and follow care plans
- Maintain clear, timely charting in the electronic medical record
- Support wound care and basic treatments according to facility protocols
- Participate in shift handoffs and communicate critical information effectively
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license; New Mexico licensure required or eligible
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Current immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
- Comfortable with overnight/overnight-night nursing and independent decision making
- Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation
- Assessment of vital signs and recognition of clinical changes
- Basic wound care and dressing changes
- Infection control and safety practices
- Electronic medical record/charting proficiency
- Patient-centered communication and family support skills
- Time management during busy overnight shifts
