Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily living assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly to the nursing team
• Assist with safe transfers and positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
• Document care accurately and timely in the facility charting system
• Support meal service and ensure proper feeding assistance when needed
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver resident-centered care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention protocols

Qualifications

• Active LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification; T-LNA accepted
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to work the listed night schedule including weekends
• Pass background check and meet facility immunization/health requirements
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, resident-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved LNA/CNA program and active LNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident hygiene
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Good time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
• Team player mindset with clear, respectful communication skills
