Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Perform vital signs monitoring and timely, accurate documentation
• Assist the nursing team with safe transfers and mobility support
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to nursing staff and supervisors
• Support mealtime assistance and basic feeding as needed
• Contribute to a positive team culture and help maintain resident dignity and comfort

Qualifications

• Current LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and the rotating schedule described
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check, TB screening, and required immunizations
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant program
• Current LNA certification in good standing

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting)
• Accurate vital signs measurement and documentation
• Familiarity with infection prevention and safety protocols
• Comfortable with patient transfers and mobility assistance
• Good observational skills to notice and report changes in condition
• Strong interpersonal skills for resident-centered care and family communication
