Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, direct resident care with respect and dignity
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes promptly
• Perform safe transfers and mobility assistance following facility protocols
• Document care clearly and timely in the resident chart or EHR
• Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver individualized care plans

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential; LNA valid for New Hampshire or ability to obtain state authorization
• T-LNA or travel LNA experience is a plus
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Comfort working evenings, every other weekend, and occasional holidays
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care standards and ADL assistance
• Ability to take and document vital signs and basic observations
• Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling
• Comfortable using electronic documentation systems or paper charts
• Teamwork, time management, and effective communication with residents and staff
