Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to enhance patient comfort and dignity
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility, always treating patients with respect
• Take and record vital signs, observe changes in condition, and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
• Support safe transfers and positioning, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and communicate effectively with the care team
• Contribute to a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — active and in good standing
• CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and delivering hands-on patient care
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care and infection control practices
• Skillful at vital sign collection, ADL assistance, and safe patient handling
• Familiarity with charting and basic clinical documentation
• Good observational skills and the ability to escalate changes in patient condition
• Dependable time management and a professional bedside manner
