Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care for residents including bathing, feeding, mobility assistance and ADLs
• Monitor and document resident status and report changes promptly to nursing staff
• Support a safe, clean and respectful environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Assist with meal service, transfers, and positioning to promote comfort and dignity
• Collaborate with the care team to implement care plans and contribute to positive resident outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential valid for Vermont or New Hampshire (required)
• High school diploma or GED and completion of an approved LNA training program
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or related patient care settings is a plus
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of state-approved LNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care
• Knowledge of infection control practices and safety procedures
• Accurate documentation and charting skills
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a rotating schedule
• Compassionate interpersonal skills and ability to engage residents respectfully
