Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care for residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient condition clearly and promptly
• Support nursing staff during treatments and procedures to ensure smooth, safe care
• Communicate effectively with patients and families to promote comfort and understanding
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow facility procedures and infection control standards
• Be a team player: collaborate with colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality care

Qualifications

• Current and active CNA certification (required)
• T-CNA credential is a plus (listed as preferred)
• Comfortable working night shifts (5:00 PM - 5:00 AM) and weekend schedule
• Willingness to travel and work a 13-week contract assignment
• Ability to pass required facility onboarding checks (background and health screenings as required)

Education

• CNA certification (state-approved program completion required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in basic patient care, transfers, and ambulation assistance
• Skilled in taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Knowledgeable in assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with an emphasis on resident dignity
• Familiarity with documentation and following care plans
