Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patient status and implement individualized care plans with compassion and precision
• Administer medications and treatments safely while monitoring patient responses
• Perform focused neurological assessments using NIHSS when applicable
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate efficient, patient-centered care
• Respond quickly to emergencies and escalate concerns to providers as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and complete required competencies and checklists
• Support patient and family education to promote recovery and wellness

Qualifications

• Active RN license (must meet state licensure requirements)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• TNCC and NIHSS certification required
• Successful completion of License/Certificate Verification and Trinity specialty competency testing
• Clear Trinity 10-panel drug screen, current immunizations, fit test, and physical/health statement as required by onboarding

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment in acute care settings
• Familiarity with stroke assessment using NIHSS
• Ability to work effectively on weekends and during EOH coverage
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and timely documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate care across disciplines
